How to Cancel Your Amazon Prime Membership with Easy Steps

Amazon offers a 30-day trial period for Prime Membership to new users. Amazon prime free trial members enjoy all the same distribution, shopping, prime video, music, and games, along with other benefits as paid members.

2. Tap the hamburger menu button from the bottom-right side.
3. Now, tap Prime.
4. After that, select the Manage My Membership next to the Prime title.
5. Tap the Manage membership drop-down menu and then select the Manage Membership option.
6. Hit End membership.
7. Scroll down on the screen showing how much delivery fee you have saved since you have joined the membership.
8. Tap Continue to Cancel and then the End on [expiry date of your Prime membership] button.

It is important to note that once you cancel your Prime membership, you will not be able to receive any Prime Exclusive offers and services like Prime Video and Prime Music.

Amazon Prime also shows an End Now button for the first three days of membership so that customers can unsubscribe on an immediate basis – if they are not satisfied with the service.

In this case, the company will provide a full membership or refund for the remaining period if customers use any bundled services such as Prime Video or Prime Music. Refunds will be provided through a credit note.

2. Next, navigate to the top right corner of the page and hover over ‘Account & lists’
3. Select ‘Your Prime membership’ from the dropdown menu.
4. Look for ‘End Membership and Benefits’ (free trial users will get the ‘Do not continue’ option) Click on it.
5. You will be directed to a new page, where Amazon will remind you of all the benefits you decide to cancel.
6. If you still wish to cancel the Amazon Prime Membership, scroll down and select ‘I Don’t Want My Benefits’.
7. After some follow-up questions on the screen, click ‘Continue to Cancel’ and then ‘Cancel Membership’ to terminate your Amazon Prime account.
8. Free trial users will get benefits till the last – ie 30th day
9. Of course, if you change your mind later, you can continue your Prime membership. To renew Amazon Prime services, select ‘Continue Membership’ in ‘Your Account.

According to Amazon, customers who have paid for an amazon prime subscription, but have never used their benefits, may be eligible for a full refund.

If you wish to cancel your membership within three business days of converting from your amazon prime free trial. You are also eligible for a full refund – provided you have not used any major benefits during that time.

Those who have used the benefits may be eligible for a partial refund based on their membership and the time remaining in their use.
